As suggested in another post which appears to describe the same fault, I used the latest update from

This does not run either, but it does generate a Windows Defender Smart Screen error. Even selecting Run Anyway does not get the application to launch.

I have also tried version 500, again it does not work.

I have another Windows 10 PC that still has DataWarrior 472 installed where I had not updated the application, but DataWarrior no longer runs on that PC either.

It does look like a Windows update or some other conflict has broken Data warrior.
