Hi Thomas,

When using "Merge Files" to update existing columns from multiple CSV file
- the column names in the first CSV (Book2.csv) can be automatically matched to exisiting column names
- the column names in the second (Book3.csv) and more CSV files can not be automatically matched to exisiting column names.

This issue is annoying when there are a lot of columns in the master DW file. Could you help to solve it?

This issue is found in DW5.5 and 6.04.01 Windows versions.
Attached are a master DW file and two CSV files.

Hi zhentg,

can you check (and if the problem still occurs, report) which level of "merge option" did you select (cf. screen photo attached)? Both Book2.csv and Book3.csv merged fluently into Data_From_Clipboard.dwar.

Regards,

Norwid

Hi Norwid, here is my screenshot, the issue is still there.
I merged Book2.csv at step 1, then I try to merge Book3.csv, and the "Merge File" panel can not recognize "property2" automatically.
