Hi Thomas,
When using "Merge Files" to update existing columns from multiple CSV file
- the column names in the first CSV (Book2.csv) can be automatically matched to exisiting column names
- the column names in the second (Book3.csv) and more CSV files can not be automatically matched to exisiting column names.
This issue is annoying when there are a lot of columns in the master DW file. Could you help to solve it?
This issue is found in DW5.5 and 6.04.01 Windows versions.
Attached are a master DW file and two CSV files.
Datawarrior is a good tool

Hi zhentg and Norvid,
when a task is performed a second time, DataWarrior tries to reconstruct the task configuration of the previous run, because often tasks are repeated with just slight modifications.
In this case the dialog setup for the second merge didn't find the setting for 'property2' and wrongly set the option to 'trash it'. That should be fixed in the next update...
Thanks for reporting...
Thomas
