Dear ksong,

picture a1.png depicts the notification I equally observed for DW 6.1.0 in an instance of Linux Debian 13/trixie. Following the directions, i.e. the de-installation of this built and pristine installation of with the new installer (md5sum 8141e32024a61ca144e238f3d00ca2d6 for file `datawarrior610.tar.gz`) provided the new DW 6.1.0 with amended functionality (e.g., violin plots now among the preferred chart types of 2D plots). If you read `v06.01.00 (build 23-Jan-2024)` (i.e., now again with a time stamp) on the splash screen, just as in your screen photo a2.png, you have the currently most recent version of the program installed.

Best regards,

Norwid

Because the standard update reminder mechanism shows a confusing message ('URL not available'), I used the messaging mechanism to send a message to all users to clarify the issue. For technical reasons all new DataWarrior versions new enough to support messages show the message. For that reason it starts with bold 'this message is for you if you didn't update yet to 6.1.0'...
