Is there any way to hide the stereochemistry text labels on the molecule images?

No. Originally molecule stereo labels as '2 epimers' were always shown with any chemical structure containing stereo centers. In particular they were meant to guide chemists when drawing molecules to reduce the error rate when using the 'enhanced stereo recognition' concept to define stereo isomer mixtures. Now DataWarrior suppresses these labels in table and structure views, but still shows them in the detail view and in the editor.
If you question refers to 'R' and 'S', then these cannot be switched off.
