Boxplot sorting order [message #383]

Hi,

First of all thanks for an amazing program!

In boxplots it appears that categories on the axes are sorted alfabetically by default. Is it possible to change the sorting order in any other way, for example in decreasing order of the median value?

yes, you may define the sorting order of any category rather flexibly, e.g. alphabetically (ascending or descending), by row count within the category, by numerical values of another column or even completely custom defined. For that
- go to the table view
- right mouse click the category column's header and select 'Set Category Custom Order...'
- Click 'Use Custom Order'
- You may now define the categories my dragging them into a new order
- Or select some sorting criteria and press 'Sort categories'
- Close the dialog with 'OK'
