"A scaleable process for N-amination of indoles was described. A dispensing system consisting of portable Coriolis massflow meters and a dual pump was assembled and demonstrated to provide simultaneous and proportional dispensing of two reagent streams in a precise manner, essential for achieving high amination conversions. The versatility and portability of the equipment provided additional value because the equipment was used in the preparation of three different N-aminoindoles in pilot plants of varying capabilities at three different sites without the need for extensive equipment or facility upgrades to accommodate the specific dispensing requirements."
