how to reset the 3D window [message #2184]

Several times I have accidentally done something to reduce the size of a molecule in the 3D window to atomic dimensions and can not figure out how to reset it other than quitting and re-starting the program. Scrolling the mouse middle wheel doesn't help. Anything I have overlooked?

Did you try a right mouse click and "View->Center View"? Unless you have also moved the clipping plane to basically hide everything, this should always work.

hmm, I thought I'd tried that (and Reset Location), but yes View / Center View now does work.
