I get an "uncaught exception:javafx/embed/swing/JFXPanel" error when I change the Look & Feel. It still changes, but it gives this error.

I could not reproduce this on Linux, MacOS, nor Windows. I assume this happens when you have the help window or the conformer window open, because these two use an JFXPanel. Which DataWarrior version on which OS do you use and which JRE, if your DataWarrior installation didn't come with its embedded JRE?

thanks for the quick follow up!

I am using Data Warrior version 5.0.0 (installed via the Linux Installer) under Centos 7.6.

And java:
openjdk version "1.8.0_212"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_212-b04)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.212-b04, mixed mode)

It seems that OpenJDK8 on Linux does not contain JavaFX, which DataWarrior uses for displaying help pages
and for the conformer viewer. I suggest that you check, how to install openjfx for your Centos.
On Ubuntu this would be: sudo apt-get install openjfx.

Of course, if conformers are not important for you and you use the help pages from openmolecules.org
rather than the DataWarrior help windows, you can live without JavaFX. Alternatively, you might switch to
OracleJRE 8, which contains JavaFX.

For upcoming DataWarrior on Linux installers, I will try to embed the JRE and JFX, such that one doesn't
need to care about the proper Java installation anymore. The MacOS and Windows installers contain the JRE
already since some time.
